Op donderdagavond won Maarten zijn eerste partij van Michal. In de match om het B-kampioenschap won Max zijn eerste partij van Rezar. Er was commentaar van Hans bij beide partijen. It is nice that Maarten refers to his father, playing bd7 in the Najdorf. I stil do. I can’t play chess the way he can but in my experience in the end the bishop, after doing its defending tasks, has more impact on square c6 than on b7. Ofcourse I congratulate him with this great win but he wil have to improve himselve tomorrow, what he undoubtedly will do.
